Roland Jackson is a writer who makes a living as an urban arborist. He lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his wife and kiddo.

His work has been supported by the Periplus Collective, Baldwin for the Arts, and MacDowell. He is the 2023-2024 Writer’s Fellowship winner with FSG .
